Located in the town of Ligang in the New Port Area of Jiangyin City and set up in 1989, Jiangyin City Guoguang Planishing Mill Fiber Roll Co., Ltd. is a high-tech private enterprise engaged in both the research and manufacture of planishing mills, soft calenders, hard calenders, super planishing mills as well as various fiber rolls. The company owns 75 million RMB worth of fixed assets and currently there are 250 people, including 32 technical personnel (among them, 8 with titles of senior professional posts), working in the company. In addition, the company has engaged 5 professors or counsellors. The enterprise has a great technical strength, complete processing equipment and a complete management system and offers good after-sale services. And it honors contracts and abides by its word.  

    Since the 1980s, the fiber roll and soft calender series developed by the company have been the first of their kinds in the country and have successfully replaced the imported ones. The controllable roll squeezer that was launched onto the market at the beginning of this century features a control of the roll surface pressure by a built-in hydraulic system, making our country the third country in the world that owns this technology and the product not just satisfies the demand of the domestic market, but is exported to Asian, European and American markets in large quantities. Upon approval by the National Technical Standardization Committee in 2006, the company organized the “National Soft Calendering Technology Committee”, which is responsible for amending and formulating the national standard for the sector.
